JCDecaux
JCDecaux is the world’s largest out-of-home advertising group, known for its bus shelter and train station advertising, billboards and street furniture. I designed a new campaign booklet explaining the new technologies the company was rolling out to engage audiences throughout Sydney.
The client was open to my idea of putting the corporate branding aside and exploring a fresh take on the JCDecaux look and feel to match the new frontier on outdoor advertising the booklet was about. After reviewing the stock photography the client supplied, I decided to take a walk through the Sydney CBD and captured candid ‘street photography’ style images to compliment the design of the 40 page book instead. The client loved it and my images were used throughout. For the production run, I used a uncoated recycled stock to match the modern approach of the field guide. This project lead to a 12 month run as the in-house designer and photographer for the company.
